Santa Clause is Comin' to Town!

This year we spent Christmas with the Suchan family. There is never a dull moment when we get together. 

Some of the festivities this year...

• Lights: We went to see the Tremonton City light show. "I'll have a bluuuuuuuuuuuuuue Christmaaas without youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. I'll be so bluuuuuuuuuuuue thinkiiiiiing about youuuuuuuu..." I was so impressed! 
• Nativity: The grandkids all participated in the 1st annual Nativity. It was adorable!
• Cuties: Logan was Joseph and Paige was an angel. So cute!
• PJ's: It would not be Christmas Eve without new jammies!
• Ukulele: Grandpa pulled out his Ukulele and played Christmas songs for the kids. Paige and Logan took turns strumming for him. Pretty precious.

Santa found us at Grandma and Grandpa Suchans house! Our elf Tony (named after Tony Stark of course...boys!) must have told him where we were going to be for Christmas.

Ironman and his name sake were caught one morning in the middle of a Jenga game. 

 Logan's favorite gift from Santa was his Avengers action figures. He had been talking about them since Thanksgiving. He told me over and over that he needed to tell Santa that he was a good boy and would like them for Christmas. Duke and Logan played with them for 3 days straight. Paige was most excited about the chocolate milk and fruit snacks Santa left in her stocking! She just wanted to play Avengers with the boys and didn't think her Princesses were that great. Ha! We have been so blessed with adorable kids who bring so much joy to our lives. We had a wonderful Christmas with them and our Suchan Family.

Holiday on Hold

The morning after Decker Christmas we were at Shalynn and Biege's getting ready to go back for more Christmas fun. Logan ran into the bathroom and told Chris and I he needed to throw up...he proceeded to throw up every 30 minutes for the next 24 hours. The next morning (Sunday,) after a very rough night, we decided Logan needed to go to an Insta-care. He was not keeping anything down and he was so dehydrated that he didn't have tears when he cried. We were so thankful to be in "The Big City" were there was an Insta-care and where we had family to watch Paige. Before we left we thought it would be best if Logan got a blessing. We talked to Logan about what a blessing was and asked if he would like one. He then look at Chris and Biege and said "Daddy and Jungle Biege will you please give me a blessing so Jesus can help me feel better and I can drink some white milk?" Such a tender moment. (He was so thirsty all he could think about was drinking milk! funny and so sad.) 

We went just down the road from ShaBiege's to the Riverton Hospital Insta-care. After Logan threw up in the waiting room a couple times they red flagged the poor guy and got us right in. They gave him a miracle drug that made him stop throwing up (Zofran,) 2 Otter Pops and, ta da! He was our boy again! When I was Logan's age I loved Otter Pops. I could eat them endlessly. This kid is not an Otter Pop or popsicle fan. He tried to convince the doctor 10+ times he didn't really need the Otter Pops. He muscled a green and then a blue Otter Pop down so he could finally have a drink of water!  It was so cute watching him push himself to finish.

After a much needed meal of crackers and bananas and a good night sleep our Logan was himself again. Pretty sure after this tummy bug I know all the tricks in the book to help a sick kiddo feel better. If only I could get Zofran without a prescription. We were sad our Christmas holiday with the Decker came to a screeching halt, but we were glad Logan had a speedy recovery!

Decker Christmas

Every Christmas season is filled with family and tons of fun. We enjoy living close enough that we can spend the holidays with those we love. The weekend before Christmas we had our Decker Christmas celebration. We wish we could be in two places at once on Christmas day! We were spoiled with gifts, delicious food and the best company around. We wish we could spend more time with everyone! 

Our "Christmas Eve" feast of funeral potatoes, ham, salad and rolls. So delicious!

Decking the Halls!

It is so fun to decorate our house for Christmas with our kids. Their eyes light up and everything is so magical. I wish this season would last just a little bit longer!

Football season is here!

We got the flag football set out this last weekend and played a little football! Logan was in heaven to say the least! Flag football shortly turned into tackle football. Logan just can't resist tackling his daddy!  Love my little family!

1 year old!

We have loved getting to know this little girl the past year. We could not imagine our family without her! Happy Birthday baby girl. 

Logan is 3 years old! What?

Last month we celebrated Logan's 3rd birthday. I cannot believe it has been 3 years since that little man joined our family.

1 day old.

Logan has done a lot of learning and growing this past year. He is now 37 inches tall and 35 1/2 pounds. 

Logan is so IMAGINATIVE. He loves pretending he is a superhero. He puts on his super cape and runs around and around the main floor with it flowing behind him. His favorite is the Hulk. When he turns into Hulk he makes a high pitch sound and then says "Hulk Smash!"

Logan is a GEEK. He loves anything that involves technology. He would play on the computer/ipad/smartphone all day if we let him. His favorite is "Chickens"...Angry Birds :) He is also a huge fan of his Aunt Shalynn!

Logan loves to COOK! If I am cooking he is right there watching and helping. His favorite things to eat/make are waffles and banana bread. I think he has the same taste buds as Chris.

Logan is our little ATHLETE! If it involves a ball he is game.

Logan is a great BIG BROTHER! He has a special place in his heart for his little sister Paigie. When he says her name he sounds french, "Paijsh." He loves to snuggle her, read her books and "share" toys with her. They are going to be the best of friends and know just how to make the other crazy.

Logan is a SMARTY PANTS! He loves to learn. Puzzles, books, numbers, letter, shapes...if it keeps his busy mind moving it is good.

Logan loves to play OUTSIDE! Recently he has spent a lot of time outside helping daddy shovel snow! He enjoys playing sports, going down the slide at the park and throwing rocks= such a boy. In the picture above we made a Mickey snowman. This kid loves him some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He can sing the theme song word for word.

Logan is FUN LOVING! This is a picture of Logan sliding down the slip and slide at Aunt Melani and Uncle James' house. This boy just likes to have fun. He has always liked to be thrown around and tackled. Can't wait to take him on roller coasters!
