Sweeping

Tonight as I cleaned my kitchen in preparation for a new day I had the chance to reflect. It is not often I find myself alone and in a quiet house with my thoughts. As I swept my floor my thoughts turned to my sweet little boy Quintin. Oh how I miss him. I think of him often. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all the things I have learned because the Lord chose me to be his mommy. As I was about to finish the floor I had a feeling that I needed to share my story/blog about some of the experiences we had with Q. I set the thought aside, as I have many times before, because of the personal nature of the experiences. As I got the dust pan out I kept having that same feeling. I tried to ignore it again and again but it just would not go away.

So, with a half clean kitchen I sit here at my computer writing this post. I hope something that I have written over the past 4 years will help, comfort or inspire someone in need. Trials are incredible things. They have a way of molding and shaping us into something new. Hopefully something beautiful if we choose to move forward and not falter. I am FAR from perfect, but, I am grateful for experiences I have been given to help mold and shape me. Because of our experiences I have learned so much about loving more, living more and striving to be more. Thank you for your love and support in my life. I will make my blog public for 1 week. I am not looking for compliments, criticism or opinion. Just putting it out there.

(Below is a link to the 1st post. You can move forward by date from there. As you can imagine, these were very hard to write and I posted months and even years apart.)
