Chris's Birthday Thanksgiving

Twenty eight years ago on Thanksgiving Day the love of my life was born. He has been such an amazing blessing in my life and in the life of those who know him. His birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year again and we spent the holiday with the Suchan family and Grandma and Grandpa Stallings. Here are a few picts from his fun day!

Pure joy! This is one of my favorite pictures of my golf loving husband. Mom and Dad Suchan gave him a wedge he has been researching and wanting for some time. It is the year of the wedge you know?

Thanksgiving was a wonderful time to contemplate all the blessings the Lord has given Chris and I. We have so much to be thankful for. The Lord has given us so much. This year one of our greatest blessings is walking around the house holding on to anything he can and calling us "dadadadada." We love being parents. Thank you for all being blessings in our lives.

It is 4 days away from Christmas and I am finally posting Thanksgiving. Better late than never! I guess keeping my blog updated better be a New Years Resolution:)

Suchan Family Picts 2010

At the beginning of November the Suchan family got together at Memory Grove for family pictures. The last time we took family pictures was in the summer of 2008. Two years later and there are 3 new additions to the family. Crazy how time flies and awesome how life happens! Here are a few of my favorites!

Halloween Happiness

The orange and black holiday is not one the Suchan Clan has looked forward to in the past. It has been a reminder of gross and creepy things. I must say after this year it will be a holiday we will look forward to every year and we didn't even go trick-or-treating! Here are a few pictures of what made this Halloween so great!

This year we decided to start a new family tradition. I love family traditions. To me they are the chocolate chips in the cookie of life. For FHE one Monday in the month of October we will have a Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza. This will be complete with a soup in bread bowls dinner, going to a pumpkin patch and picking our perfect pumpkins, and getting elbow deep in pumpkin guts in efforts to carve the most excellent face. We did it a little to early this year and our poor pumpkins did not make it to Halloween. Sad. Live and learn. Next year they will survive.

OH SICK! There is nothing like being elbow deep in pumpkin guts. That is a Halloween special. So fun. It has got to be good for my skin right? (That is what I kept telling myself)

Cinderella (Our niece Kezia) and a ferocious Tiger (Logan River.) We went to Tremonton the week before Halloween to visit the Suchan family and to show off our little tiger (Thanks Grandma for the costume!) Growing up the fam always had chili and cinnamon rolls on Halloween night. This year the delicious tradition took place a little early. We had fun playing games, watching a little football, and gawking at the cutest grandkids in their costumes.

Has there ever been a cuter tiger? I think not! On "Utah" Halloween we went over and trick-or-treated at Grandma and Grandpa Decker's house. Growing up my mom would always make Halloween stew for us before we went out trick-or-treating so we would stay warm. She made a pot of the yummy stew for us. Logan even had some!

The annual Olsen family Halloween party. It was a blast! We sure love them! We went as zoo keepers with our little tiger. That is what we call a last minute costume:) We will do better next year.

Gardner Village Witch Hunt

October is such a fun month full of harvest and Halloween fun. Every year Gardner Village has their Witch Fest! They decorate the village with 50+ witches and have fun events all month long. Logan is a little too young for the fun activities but Shalynn sure got some cute pictures!

After we were shopped and pictured out we went to Rubio's for some delicious fish taco's. It was a great day. We are so blessed to have such an amazing family to do fun things with. Love you all!

Miracle Monday!

Two nephews in two weeks! Andrea (Chris's sister) and Corinne (my sister) both had babies in September just a week apart from each other. They are such handsome little guys.

Miracle #1: Davian William Olsen
Born on Monday, September 13th at 7:39pm. Weighing in at 6 lbs 8 oz. Measured 19 1/2 inches long. What a stud! He totally looks like Elvis in this picture:) Where did all that hair come from!?!

Miracle #2: Dean Kjar Worwood
Born on Monday, September 20th at 9:43pm. Weighing in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. Measured 19 1/2 inches long. Handsome little devil! I know there has got to be some Decker in there somewhere, but I just can't see it. HA!



Two Mondays in a row bring two little miracles into our family. It is crazy how much love you can have for someone you just met. We are so excited to watch them grow. Logan is excited too! His buddies are finally here! Heaven only knows the trouble he will get into with these two. Oh dear.

I wonder what next Monday will bring!?!

Our Little Monkey

As many of you know Chris has called our little man "MONKEY" from day one. Here are a few pictures of Logan monkeying around!

Aunt Joyce took Chris, Logan and I out to eat at Cowboy Grub. Logan got to ride the horse and as you can see LOVED IT!



This little monkey has become a master of the "Roll & Scoot." He has not crawled yet but he sure gets himself into some tight spots.

My two favorite boys in the whole world! Logan and I have been working on catching his favorite toy, his big blue ball. Such a boy! I knew my PE degree would pay off!

Summer Sun

Summer is the Suchan's favorite season! Some day we will move some where with all of our family and friends to a place where it is summer all the time! That might be in the millennium but a girl can dream! Here are some of our summer highlights...

The summer is over and school is in. This is the first time in 20 years I will not be going back to school. Crazy. I am so blessed to be able to stay home and raise my little man. Fall is fast approaching with it's beautiful colors, pumpkin carving, and football! It is no summer fun but it is definitely the next best thing.
